Algae on driftwood

Yeah they'll grow close under the light. The algae will show up when the water contains high levels of phosphat.

The blackbeard algea I got from a LFS. When I buy some plants, I ask him to add a tiny piece of that blackbeard and he wont even ask questions. It was hard at first to get it to stay in my other tanks, but once it grows you have to keep it under control like bushynose said.

nice growth, just control the growth don't want to unbalance the tank with over populated algae
