Algae outbreak.

Take it out anyway. Do some big water changes and let that tank find some sort of healthy balance. It's been a biological rollercoaster in there from what I have read here on MFK.

You go no idea man. My tank is crazier than a 6 Flags on a hot day. I’m trying to get it under control though. I did a water change today already so should I take out the wood today and do daily water changes for a week or so or do a big water change wait a couple days and do another.

Take the wood out and do daily water changes of 25%. That's 2, 5 gallon Homer buckets full. Try that for a week or so.
