Algae problem

hey yall i recently started up a 90g tank and its had a few weeks to cycle, but the last two days or so i have been seeing bright green algae beginning to develop on the rocks and substrate.. what could the possible reasons or solutions be?

Overfeeding and too much light are the main reasons for excess algae.

water changes are the solution... as well not over feeding and not leaving the lights on so much

How are you cycling it?

Without knowing your setup, and the type of algae, giving a way to fix the problem is like having a janitor tell you how to fly a plane.
