Anyone have experiance with swimming pool chemistry (especially chlorine-free pools) and how an algae turf scrubber might interact if used on one?

Wow... not one response. 
: that sucks.... : It's a shame that people don't see the benefit of these scrubbers. A massive scrubber keeping your pool clean would be a heckuva lot more natural and good for people to swim in (such as opening your eyes under water for sure) than chlorinated pool. But, the science that you've read into on your research of these scrubbers still eludes most.

In a chlorine free pool I could definitely see it being useful. Especially with them salt filtered Intex Pools.

I am a certified pool operator. The pools that I work on are all chlorinated pools. Chlorine does not kill all algae (black algae) and we still have to scrub the pool bottoms. I would be interested in these scrubber systems. And also it is the Ph that is usually to acidic that burns your eyes in the pool.
I think the advantage of an algae scrubber in pool or hot tub will be the ability to reduce chlorine levels.
The new designs which I'll start posting next month will be easier to use for pools than the current ones.
