i think i may have to cut my pleco off. since i've started to feed him hikari algae wafers he's done nothing but poop all over the place! honestly its disgusting, he'll be at one end of the tank and his strand will be touching the wall at the other end! haha!

haha thats what happend to my plec when i started feeding him veggies he alone made my newly set up 150 gallon tank look like it was set up 3 years ago and maintained by a 3 year old
i was feeding him veggies everyday though and ive since cut him back to veggies every 2-3 days with algae wafers once a day in between and he poops alot less but its still very noticable after 4-5 days (which is about when i do a water change / clean up the crap off the sand)

I probably have to clean up my 60 gallon with 7 pleco every 2-3 days.. for one.. its healthy to pick up the poop even tho i have strong filteration.. second.. i too can't stand the poop... BUT it does tell me that they are eating and are healthy... if i dont see them poop thats when i start to worry.. the plecos i got are too expensive.. i dont want to loose them...
please NO! don't ban me! what should i do though? only cut back the amount of algae wafers i give him? the problem is that i'm trying to get a raphael cat to eat and so i over feed hoping that he'll come out to eat a little bit.
