algae?

so i dont have enough room in my new 60 gallon pbass grow out tank for a pleco or really any algae eaters at all. so what is the best and safest way to get rid of it longer than i would by just wiping it off the glass?

What is the type of algae you have a problem with? Use algae scraper. No need to use fish.

dont know what kind. the only place i could put the tank is right in front of the window so this stuff is growing back quite fast. so just scraping it off just takes care of it for like 4 days then its back. i was wondering if there was a way to keep it away longer

they have special media packets you can put into your tank to remove the phosphates and such that algae needs to grow, check your lfs for it. I've found they work pretty well.
