algae?

I thought it looked a little light on the artificial light in the last pic...heh. I agree that allot of the commercial backgrounds look a little flat (insert cheap). The one on my 29 is like that, just a picture of plants. I should replace it, but it does hide the cords and plumbing behind my tank....
 
Tank looks pretty good to me algae wise.What happened to the snais?Did the puffers get them?Inverts are the first to go if somethings wrong.Or it could have been the salt...
 
I thank the puffers may be getting t hem 'cause my other tank set up pretty much the same way but with differant fish and with adiquite light so it dosent have to be in front of the window the snails are doing just fine.
 
are you going to get a better light? Since brighter light can mean faster plant growth, which can outcompete the algae and get you a cleaner tank.

I hadn't thought of that. in time I may just do that, right now I am preparing to go back to work after my 6 month lay off.:) so after I start work again I will most likly do that. ty.
