well i personally never have had a bad time with flowerhorns and sickness and the one time i did he was cured 2 days later, but from my frequent vist to flowerhornusa.com and flowerhornrus.com i have read that they contract disease easier because they are hybrid fish. plus ive seen some scary pics. ZZ's commonly get stomache bloat, and hex is a big killer among fh hobbiests. my water in my tanks stay about 84-86. and when they are sick about 89. thats standard for fh, bc the higher the temp the less evil hidden diseases u have in ur tank. this is 2nd hand information i kinda have just from read seeing as in the past 3 1/2 years expierenece my flowerhorns seem un killable
 
I heard that chingmix flowerhorn food is not good for breeding.
Is that true ???
