He sure loves to eat. Was feeding nls just got him to eat some Hik Gold seems to enjoy it to.
The 4 that I have are in separate tanks and have the following individual tastes...
Big male...currently eating Hikari brand freeze dried krill,Hikari frozen mysis shrimp, and fluval bug bites pellets(by far his favorite food)
Smaller male eats all of the above but primarily since he takes them well he has Hikari massivore and Northfin carnivore. ..
Larger more green female eats all of the above...
Other female every thing except North fin....
All will eat blood worm but just haven't given them in months...
All will eat raw Shrimp made for human consumption but I have backed off feeding it due to it have a preservatives I'm concerned about..... Sorry if it's TMI.... Just liked answering the question....

No great answer mine loves to eat the bug bites to. The first few times he ate them he actually got mad and wouldnt eat pellets very good because they werent bug bites. So i layed off them but now he eats whatever i thru in there. I tossed 2 worms in once and he went crazy for them to. Mine is still small i would say 5 inches and thats his tail and all but he is thick and i think tall.
Very nice. I just read this thread, and as soon as I saw a 4 inch female and male Trimac, I thought ..... "they'll be spawning in a week". I knew it. Trimac's are horny.
I bought a 4 inch female from Rapps for a larger male in my 125 one time, thinking I'd let the female grow out a little bit and maybe, one day, they'd breed. She changed colors right away, laid eggs, like it was nothing. 4 inches is plenty big enough for a female Trimac to lay. Plenty.
