any photos of yours?

n this guy doesn't have a tiger shovelnose catfish; this guy doesn't have a 10,000,000,000,000,000gallon pond either.

I've seen all three in tanks (P.corruscans included) one thing people might not know is that P.tigrinum is much smaller then the other two averaging about 3 feet fully grown. The other two grow much larger over 6 feet in the case of P.corruscans

When you guys say "Tiger shovelnose" are you reffering to the false tiger (P. fasciatum) or the true tiger (M tigrinus). I assume the first of the two based on pics.

They make great hunters, and as stated grow quite fast. I've worked with some as long as 4'. I just got a pair when my arapaima came in earlier this week. They're about 4-5" and growing to exhibit size quickly!

i just gave my tsn to my lfs. he terrorized my 125 and eat anything that would fit in his mouth. he ate at least $100 dollars of fish i've bought, i love him though. they are a very attractive fish when they get bigger. mine was at about 14" when i gave him up. he will be missed.
