Yep, that's a lot of dead fish and money. It was definitely frustrating to bear all the losses at once.:irked:

i lost my oscar 2 african cichlids the best ive ever seen my red tail shark!!! nooo y did you leave me!!!!:cry::cry:
 
Don't quit the hobby, just take better care and more caution of the fish :D And yes, qt fish no matter where you got it before putting it in you display tank.
 
hey i had all my fish die this month too!! i left the country for 2 weeks after putting some feeders in my tank and they got ick and all died, well supprisingly petsmart is willing to re-emburse me on my fish. how much do you think a 18'' Shovelnose, a 8'' Red tailed cat, and a 6'' raphael cat are worth? thanks!
 
Thanks for the words of encouragement. This hobby is fun until the fish get sick. The extra waterchanges from medicated the tank will frustrate anyone that is working a FT job. It's not fun doing 2-3 waterchanges a week.
