Tempted to get one myself, grow it out with my juvy pbass and indo dats (they're all 4-5")... if you grow it from that size with other fish, inter-species aggression has a better chance of being lessened, right?

I really think so... I raised my Armatus with feeders and other weenie fish. So far he has not taken out my 6" Orino, 6" Geos or my 7" Pleco.
Armatus is not 10"+ and had him since he was 1.5"

Yeah. Id say cause it was the smallest of the gorup of Geos. Im not saying that he wont ever kill any tankmates at all. I just think that by growing him up with fish that are not as aggressive calmed him down. I still have the 2 Orig. Geos that I started him with.

I guess Im just stuck on trying to get fish I like together, even if peeps dont agree with the combo. Ill take my chances and hopefully wont have to buy another

Hey, at least you have good luck with yours. I'm sure if anyone will get the Dorado/Armatus combo to work you will. Keep us posted man.....
