i had it...it didn't work, well mainly cause the dorado was too busy trying to jump out of the tank and i was afraid it'd succed. i have a friend with about 8 or so 12-14"malas in his comm with scombs, gatfs, vatfs and rays

i have an offer for another 14"er, in with 4 gars and a bichir in my 5x3 tank. SHOULD I??? i cant decide.

well this guy has been in with cuban gars before at cf, no damage done. it's in with 3 of my ex small orinos with no damage done. small too. i dont see much of a problem, my cubans are huge. haha

i could try, and i'm pretty sure it will work. but i think i might hold up for another 2 cubans instead.

it's one thing to simply say "it won't work", and then "i told you so", and completly another thing to give it some thought, research and personal experience before saying "it won't work" and then "i told you so"

from the dorados ive owned...i wouldnt put them with gars.

whoa...hmm wonder how my dorado will react once I add it to the main tank after it gains maybe a couple 2-4"s...still thinking wether I will do that right now tho. Btw how's everyones dorado's doing right now?

Mine need a bigger tank. They really aren't diggin the 20 gallon anymore. Giant Danios are all still with them. Tailess, but still kickin, or at least trying.

Lmao! mines needs to get out of the 30 long xD seems like when its darting back and forth their's barely enough space for it now....prolly move it out when it grow's another 2" or so mines is snagging everything now

My dude is still kicking!! He is with 2 Spotted, Ray and big feeders. Only damage is to the feeders fins due to the spotteds trying to eat them...lol

Id say 5.25" or so is the Dorado??
