i got some guns (and im 14:nilly:) i got a marlin .22 model 60, marlin 30-30 model dont remember, beretta 303 thats it


i want a little savage varmint gun forgot the model :nilly:
 
anybody into long distance target shooting? like really really long distance. im talking about the 1000 yd range. this whole thing fascinates me; the whole bullet drop, bullet coeffecient, MOA, etc etc. how somebody can hit a target at over 1000yds is awesome. im happy to get on paper at distances 1/10 of that :ROFL:
anybody into this type of shooting?

well if your shooting that well i dont see why people wouldnt want to be around you... that kind of shot says your "capable"... sorry but with out a video i call BS...
 
I'll try to get pics of it, I'll take them, but I warn you, my camera doesn't have a good zoom.

I LOVED the pics! I don't think too many people can best what you did!
 
i do a bit once a month up on the military 1000 yd range i use a 338 lap mag and a 300 HH ...but the rifles ARE 1000 yd sniper rifles set up for shooting that distance..extended turret german scopes and hours and hours of zeroing with a spotter ....a friend of mine from twickenham england goes to the "dogtowns in the usa once a year to shoot the prairie doga and irax ....they do it at 1600 METRES and more .......he holds the brittish record for a head shot on a rabbit .....643 metres!!!!!!!!! but thats all they do its awesome to watch....... they tip molasses out on one mountain top and shoot them from another!!!!!!

thats sounds awesome. i would love to able to say i can hit something from 1000+yds. maybe one day when i have lots of money and lots of spare time ill give this a try :)
