all in one skimmer, wet/dry sump?? any good

I think for the price of either one of those, You can build your own for a little less money and get a little better setup with better equipment. Is you tank reef ready or do you use an overflow box? Do you currently have a protein skimmer or are you looking to get one now?
 
Agree with above. Keep looking around for better systems. Or build your own.
 
ive been thinking about building my own, what my problem is that i dont want to have a crappy home job setup. im not going for a reef ready system now, just a simple fowlr. i have little experience in building sumps. what i have now is
80 gallon tank
mag drive return pump (stickers are gone so i dont know what kind it is)

protien skimmer

and your basic overflow system

do they sell a tank that has the different sections installed? so all i would need is bio-material, skimmer, return pump.
 
ah that skimmer blows that wet dry blows and the bottom skimmer blows , ill sell you my toms pro aquatics pro wet dry WITH THE ATS for 30$ lol , please build your own wet dry and buy the marineland skimmer , its badass and you can get it on ebay for like 150 bucks i payed for the 300 gallon one for my 210 gallon tank and it produced half the cup full in 30 mins.
 
ok then do you know where i buy a pre assembled tank as a wet dry system. one with a trickle plate over the bio material section. a spot for a skimmer and of course a spot for the return pump? i just do not have the tools.skills.know how to build one and i have no desire to.
 
your better of building your own and getting a good protein skimmer like a ASM and doing some DIY research.
