green slime can be fixed easily by a bristlenose catfish or similar, something that loves green stuff on the walls.
i have never ever had a problem with green algae in my tanks - in one tank i have 4x powerglo and semi planted.
in my rtg tank i have 5 bulbs.

i think its more the fish health thats the primary concern.
but i get what both of you mean, merits in both arguments.

how much is the arcadia tanning light at hollywood?

jsut under 200 dollars.
i think anything with a good UVA and UVB content is good, arcadia reptile bulbs.

the tanning light artificially colours the fish red.
i dotn like that
