Thnx all, Yer the Sooty and Jar have their little fights and the Jar chases him around, but other than that there all good. Although when the jar has the sooty in a corner he sticks up for himself by ramming him.

The only fish that picks on the stonefish is the sooty, when i feed em he goes along and chases them away, so yer im just waiting for the day he gets nipped, but i dont know if the venom will actually harm the sooty.

Oh forgot to answer the question about the bullrout, they generally reach around 25-30cm, but they can attain a length of 35cm.

nice jar, i really like em, its just i cant find any here.... anyone know where to get Jars in Auckland, New Zealand?

They aren't legally allowed to be imported to NZ, but there are some here that have slipped through. Keep an eye on TradeMe, they pop up for sale every now and then, maybe $4-500 usually. I'm pretty sure the importer who brought mine in still has greens left, they're similar but more pricey and less aggressive.
