Thanks, I'm actually surprised he shows such good color in the absence of any females. He's not very high in the heirarchy either. If he's facing off with another fish he colors up even more green with purple. I got him from a fish store here in the Toronto area. Really cool place. An entire store dedicated to African cichlids and nothing else.
