i dont think mine is a thai spec..since juvy i only fed it with shrimps..so the flowers developed more rapidly. Until today this fella only take shrimps..
latest update..the LFS which i purchased my golden giant micropeltes previously..stock more than 20 tails of wild caught emperor of various sizes..!!

i bought 1 6-band cost me ..RM30..size 10"...fins badly damaged and eyes cloudy..badly in shape so i quarantine it temporary..i went there again and as at yesterday only left 7 adults approx. 2-3kg.. the rest of the adults and the 10" specimen all sold...besides the emperor, he also stocked 7 adult bujuk and various sizes of small bujuk...all wild caught

during lunch break went to d LFS again..n managed to snap a few shots of the adult emperors...without d boss knowledge...balance left 6..d rest sold. mostly with 6 band flowers

my recent purchased..approx 10" RM30..tail half torn, cloudy eyes and some scales (flowers) missing...sigh!

6 i think..cos at the RH side of the body, the 2nd & 3rd banding r too close thus when the silver rim scales developed the banding will became one.. more pics from the LFS..
