awesome collection..im just jealous of how clean and clear is your water gets. I have trouble getting my tank crystal clear like your. I even over kills with the filterations canister and sump but seem like it never get clear like your. what is your trick other then changing water and gravel vacuum? I did 80% water change weekly.

Have been using one of those EcoPlus pumps as well, mine got a lot quieter after I mounted it to a 2x4. I used some sheet rock screws and went right through the rubber feet and into the wood. Seemed to stabilize it and it wasn't vibrating around all over the place.

What substrate is that in the last tank? Looks like a very unique type of sand??

No tricks here, I do now approx 20-30% water changes on Sundays. Something with those canisters that doesn't do a good job. I ran into that issue all the time. Water be crystal for a day or so, then it got kinda hazy, not so clear. I don't have the issue anymore with this very simply setup that more folks need to try out for themselves :)

Substrate in all the tanks are natural gravel, one is a little bigger than the other. Only sand I have is in the 75.

It's been 5 months since I installed the sponges, it's been pretty nice not to clean any filters. I do my weekly water changes on Sunday about 25%. Still haven't swapped out the pump for a quieter pump, on a pleco buying spree at the moment. There a lot of plecos that I wasn't able to take a photo off.
