Nice! how big is the grass pickerel? And what are you feeding him? Baby bullhead or madtoms? I caught two male longears a few days back and they are no where near as nice as that one you have!

its a redfin. not a grass pick. we dont have grass pickerels around here..that is baby bullhead. he is at 4" now. i got him at like 2

only one time i did that. usually i feed worms or blacknose dace, fatheads, killifish, or common suckers

I love natives also, and as soon as we move I am getting a 125g central longear tank, and one then I want a 195g- 250g Redbreast sunny tank so that I can use my 10g and my 39g for feeder and quarantine tanks.....I cant wait.
