All Of Jardini Arowanas

What are they diffrent type of Jardini's that would be legal in NY?

PICTURES of each kind would help, and there max size. the minimum of my new tank is gonna be 2 foot~
 
? there is only one jardini sp. they are one of two australian arowana sp. the other is Leichardti....
 
They do get large, but at a much slower pace than silvers.
Mines 3 and he's 18" and still growing.

:iagree: Although there are different color variations. Some are dark greeen, some have red tails, and some look almost black in color.

what?!?? where did you see those jars....:confused: theres no such thing as a red tail jardini........;)
 
If you search around on the web there are pics of some that have really dark red tails on them. My Jar has really dark green scales with red tips and it's fins and tail have a nice red color to them. I can't remember the exact site, but I was searching the web and came across the pic. I think it has to do with diet and the water/tank conditions. Let me see if I can find it.
 
the types of food, and substrate color are the ONLY things that change a Jardini's color.
