I'll bet you the fire fighters really love that!
Fire works are strictly forbidden in LB. I will post some pics of what happens on the beach. One year they actually tried to crack down on it. I don't think it went over very well.
When I moved here back in the 90s I was totally amazed. The private "illegal" shows on the beach got more applause than the big show near the Queen Mary.

That's like the display this guy puts on at a nearby softball field....and he's been doing it since before the law changed.

Its funny you can buy fireworks here year round lol. I guess it's a perk of living in a poor state.

States have their own weird laws....here it's illegal to sell cars on Sunday.
Get a load of this tidbit;

Really? Do they honestly believe this kid or someone didn't light the fuse?
They made it sound as if the thing was a piece of C4!
 
I am still cooked from last years. No plans this year.

Monday Raw had it's own sets of fireworks....I like how they still try to pass it of as real. It was as fake as could be.
 
yup, that was last year, quite the show. and 4 kegs lotsa food, a DJ. was a great 4th. and lotsa work, resting this year
