Yes I totally agree... that's why I tried to put "the truth" in parentheses. I find it surprising that the Pyurrha conures are commonly listed as good apartment birds. They can be pretty loud. My linnies, too, were listed as one of the quietest pet bird species (aside from finches). They're still really vocal and they can make my eardrums buzz if they want to. While budgies are small and not very loud in volume, they have a near constant chatter which can drive some people nuts. It just goes to show that a "quiet" parrot is still pretty vocal.
Well I guess if you are talking relatively. :D Compared to a Moluccan cockatoo, every bird is quiet.

Hahahahahah I know what you mean. One of my friends has a 50-year-old cockatoo and I'm glad she's crazy about him because good lord, that bird is deafening. I could never have a cockatoo anyway-- I'm way too allergic to the powder down feathers.

yeah wayy to loud for me...if they didnt make so much nose id get one only bc theyre the best dancers:headbang2
