All this time thought it was a RTGG...but guess what?

Nice looking O.What lead you to believe that it is not the species that you thought it was?
Mostly from lack of information and pictures available at the time for positive identification on the O. Semptemfasciatus. It has only been within the past couple of years that I actually got a visual confirmation of another O. Sempt. that I was to accurately identify. A number of years ago I showed his picture to this forum in the hopes that someone might know something. If I recall correctly , they could not identify and there was a very heated discussion about a possible hybrid between O. Goramy and O. Laticlavius and whether that was even possible (that thread is still here somewhere). I guess few people had seen one before. I just knew deep down that he was not RTGG (hybrid or not) because the colors just didn't match up. I'm just happy after 2 decades he is identified. Even if I never knew, it wouldn't matter. He's awesome in every way with a great personality. If someone says that's not possible obviously never had a GG! :)

I definitely want one one day, what size tank to you keep him in?

I heard GG can be boisterous. Will he get an upsize anytime?
