Very much south..
While I was out of the country the Allenbatrachus Grunniens arrived ( bigger than I imagined, allmost a hand in size ).

One of my sons did the acclim and put them in the tank.

He phoned me next morning saying they were getting full of nasty looking white stuff. Told him to ad salt to the tank, and so he did.

Nasty white stuff cleared asap.

Pix do not do them justice. They are 3 times as big as my Thallasophryne Amazonica....:)

If someone could confirm that they're in fact Allenbatrachus Grunniens, I would be much obliged.:)

Bump?

They kep thriving okay...and eating.
Things seem to be on the upside with them toadfish!!

Ummmm interesting, we need better pics!

how do they compare to T. amazonica? I had T. amazonica and found them to be hard to get them to feed readily

I just know that I had one that lasted me for a month and I was told later that it was Brackish.
