Alligator Gar and Snakehead together?

Hi all

Just wondering, Can Alligator Gar and Snakehead live together in peace?

Depends on tank size and secondly species of snakeheads.
I have kept Pleuros with Gators, for instance

Maybe another alligator gar or some larger bichirs.

Alligator gars are pretty aggressive for being gars & all; they're more than capable of ripping most other fishes to pieces.

You need a large predatory fish that stays on the bottom, like a catfish..

My gator did well with my Planiceps catfish when i kept them together.

My floridas beat up my planiceps cat when they were smaller. Definitely not somethingI would try with an alligator gar.

I have kept niger catfish and other large growing doradid cats with gator gars without issues. This could still end badly though. It is not recommended to keep anything with a gator gar that you would hate to lose.
