Alligator Gar Bite

I was trying to hand feed my rtc some fish when the gar suddenly bolted on my hand and bit. I can feel the teeth sunk to my bone and I think it punctured a vein and gave it a bruise lol. Has your fish also inflicted you pain? please share your experiences!


The gar is currently 1 1/2 feet I think, I hope i wont get bit in the future when the fish gets even bigger.

That's gnarly but you came away lucky considering. I've seen some stingray stings that went a lot worse than that!

Nothing compared to this but my Oscar jumped out of the water and bit my finger and he drew blood
