Alligator Gar / Crocodile Gars

I didn't have them on the computer, but found some on my flash card. The hybrids we find here have the spotting and more slender shape of longnose, but have the double row of spike teeth like an alligator gar. The scales range from completely smooth, like longnose, to partially patterned, although never completely patterned like alligator gar.

That's awesome. You say its 6'3"? That is impressive, I have heard of them, but never seen a pic that showed the double row of teeth. Good call

Yeah, 6' 3" and 85 pounds. Another guy caught one last year that was a little heavier, but they don't get much longer. I guess the max length for the Croc III hybrids is probably around 6' 6". If you're looking straight down on top of them, they're easy to identify because the nose is so clearly intermediate between the two species.
