Alligator Gar eating Rainbow Trout bought from bait shop

My 20" Alligator Gar eating Rainbow Trout that was leftover bait from a fishing trip. My local bait shop sells the Trout for $1.29 plus tax as bait for Rockfish/Striped Bass.The aquarium is getting a large water change tonight. They had it all stirred up catching the trout.

I've got more in a quarantine tank. They eat Hikari Massivore Pellets and feeder fish too unfortunately. Three little 5-6" trout ate like 50 rosey red minnows in 12 hrs!!! That's on top of pellets. The trout are extremely territorial with each other. The one dominant trout beats the others relentlessly. Reminds me of Dorado.

They are a handful. They grow super fast also. If I didn't have a pond, I wouldn't attempt to keep one at all. 4" to 20" in a year. Didn't even feed it alot either. Goodluck.
