dude a gar is the most hardiest fish ever down here in louisiana they are wild and live thru everything ive even caught one in full saltwater. they are awsome if u ask me u can only kill them wit a nuclear bomb lol. they are watever climate u have

yea like i said ive caught one in full sw. they are more active in a hotter climates . we had a big freeze and i got gator gar in my grandparents pond and no feaths at all.
i live in NC and have a pond is it to cold for tropical fish here i like stuff like arapaima,gar,sturgeon,lungfish,pike,muskie,nile perch,goonch,giant tigerfish,wells catfish,pickerel,burbot,bowfin,flathead catfish,striped bass,largemouth bass,pike minnow,large suckers i know some of thees fish are native to NC but some are not and those are the ones i am worried about so i am up for sugestions on what i can do can you buy heaters for a pond that runs from a creek and how do you monster fish fan s seel a pond and keep the fish in but keep the stix and leaves flowing to can i get a filter that will take the leaves and twigs i do not care what is on the bottom just what is on top i will get pics of the pond and the parts that need sealed friday
