zoodiver's has probably been at his job for that long. I'm sure he has a good idea how old his is. I know they can make 30 years easy, at least once they get past that 4-5' range and not much else will eat them.

I'm not questioning the age of Matt's fish... If there is data that is recorded of A. spatula reaching 100 years regularly I'd like to see this as I have not seen it. I have detailed records of them in the 50 to 60 year range but not much older than this.
