alligator or florida gar ?

he is about 7" and was labelled alligator gar but ya never know what do you guys think he is ? alligator or florida gar ?

sometimes it seems like they have a slightly rounder eye area.

Also kinda a shorter mouth with more distinct stripes, these are things I ussually go by im sure other people have different methods.

awesome good good ! didnt wanna get him if he was a alligator .... as there much more aggressive and grow almost 2-2.5ft in a year lol... florida gar much much better and he only 20$@7" or so

Looks like I was right in your other thread with possible mislabling. Good thing you got pics, if you had them in the other thread I could have told you what it was there. I would get it if I were you.
