alligator snapping turtle owners, should i?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
You get way more action and interaction with a chelydra ( common snapoer ) than with a Macroclemmys.

I have kept both, and big, for years. Alli is no pet, in any sense of the word, and unless you are a real turtle guy, will bore you to smithereens in 2 months.

And, finnally, although they grow way slower than commons, the 150 is short in water volume and space, imho

Define Community tank, I have one and It can and will eat every fish in the tank that I put in with him. Personally IMO CST's make better display animals, AS's are pretty lazy and really do not do much of anything, as to where CST's are active

Ya alligator snappers are bottom hunters. They sit and wait for food rather than moving around like a cst. I still like the razorback musk. Imo id grab one of them

I am a sad puppy, I own all three species lol
