alligator snapping turtle

Well for one, they lay eggs. Do you mean they just hatched? Secondly, most baby animal can be mean and may take time to settle down.

Oh and is their a point to prove on this topic? I find it quite pointless...
 
i think anyone breeding their "pets" is a good thing. need some more info though. and of course pics lol.
 
Aligator snappers? You got them to breed? How big are they? Over 2 feet, I presume. How old?
 
Not many people have true alligator snappers, most have common snappers (which were added to CITES App III over the past Summer, by the way).

Snappers hatch out at about the size of a quarter. Most of them -whether adult or juvie- will bite. Having a pair of breeding adults in captivity is rare - so I'm impressed. Just having an enclosure for two, then enough room to have haul out and nest space is a big deal.

I dunno Matt, I'm still wondering what is going on. I wanna see some pics of these things.
 
Are you selling any of them I been looking to purchase one or two and I can,t find any sites that sells them do you know of any that would be helpful to me raelly would appreciate it Thank you
 
Alligator snappers are endangered, so I don't even know what the trade restrictions are on them.

thr eggs hatched last week I found her when i drove down to florida for a vacation.we found her in a swampy area,she is over 2 feet we hauled her back in the back of the van i did not know that she was even pregnet
