Definitely wouldn’t swim in any of those ponds/lakes. They are everywhere. Had one in my pool when the lanai was left open.

Had deep fried alligator meat at the local bass pro shops restaurant and it was tasty.

I tried a couple of yrs ago while vacation here and didnt care for it. My son loves the stuff.

Sounds like you've moved to the jungle. What sort of area are you in? Is it suburban or rural? I've heard Florida is full of every invasive species you can imagine but didn't know there were so many local hazards.

We get crocodile on the menu here sometimes, it's like a cross between fish and chicken. Not bad but I wouldn't go out of my way to get it.
