So it gives me an excuse to set up another tank:D I'm looking at either the Oceanic biocube 14 or 29 system. Especially the 29. I have some Ideas of inhabitants, but I know only what little I remember from an owners guide to setting up a healthy saltwater aquarium, and this would be my first salt setup. I have a LFS pretty much the next street over from my HS and they have very healthy saltwater fish, and I plan on working there to gain some Experience with saltwater before I purchase. As for the fish/inverts what I would like to do is get either a flame, or coral beauty dwarf angel, a firefish, spotted cardinalfish, yellowtail damselfish, Longnose Hawkfish, royal gramma basselet, Arrow crab, peppermint shrimp, electric flame scallop, and a nice starfish. I'm not going to get all of these fish for the tank, but I wanted to list all of the fish/inverts I'm looking at. One thing I NEED for this tank is the hawkfish can it fit in the tank or is it too small? thanks for any help

whoh big list:
you can get one of the dwarf angels, you dan get the firfish but you should get two or more as they do better in groups, the cardinals even more with 3 being the minimum, by yellowtail you mean yellowtail blue damsel right? if the hawk is a must you CANNOT get the gramma, scine they share the same niche in the reef but dont actually come in contact with one another in the wild they will fight like HELL!
i wouldn't get the scallop as they need spot feeding and are very prone to diseases. beautiful animal but not practical for most home setups.

Will purple and red firefish shoal together?

i would think so. i've never tried it cause i've never had purple fires before. are you talking about those ones that are named after some guy (i dont know the name) cause they are REALLY expensive like $200 i think. another factor in me not having them.
