Almost made a HUGE mistake

I saw some dwarf sturgeons at my LFS for around $25. I think their scientific name is Pseudoscaphirhynchus hermanni, and they grow to about 11 inches max according to this website http://www.fishbase.org/Summary/SpeciesSummary.php?id=8764
Am not sure if these are the same type of sturgeons that you people are referring to.

most likely a sterlet they only get about 36" so not too huge but they are alot of work to keep. I have kept them in indoor ponds and they dont have to keep swimming. They can just lay on the bottom and chill. However they do need lots of 02 and cool water.

Sterlets grow longer then 3', it's more like 4'.
