Alone in the hobby :(

Half of the fish are dead, have fungus, fin rot, poor coloration, or ich. But that's another thread entirely.

Back on topic- when I was a single man and had 2 burned out male room mates, they celebrated my fish keeping. They loved the tanks in the living room. But we didn't have cable, and most of their income went to certain "luxuries" and they spent most of their free time on the couch staring at fish.

Your not the only one that's alone. My wife hates anything to do with fish. The only time she's happy is when I sell them. I told her either fish or my truck. I ended up with the fish. Don't let one person stop you from enjoying your hobby. Everyone's gotta have a hobby. My kids like fish but only for 5 mins tops.
 
Most of the time with fish keeping you can't really share your passion with people with no interest/no past experience with. A lot of people I meet seem to be hard wired one way or the other.

Were you a fly on the wall in that apartment? Lol.

They were genuinely interested. If it weren't for all the hard work involved I'm sure they would be keeping fish after I moved out.

Well mine is not a 60" but it IS a 55":)... TV over tank... it doesn't get any better than that... what's on TV may be boring but the fish never are... and my my wife and I BOTH enjoy it!
