Alone or Pair Necessity

I find in a group, theres competition and new rays start eating alot quicker than if they were alone and is especially helpful to ween onto pellets, but either way works fine.

Thanks for the input guys - just as well as i did not put in the female pup with the much larger male ^^

though that does leave me in a bit of a problem. the female would never catch-up since she is much smaller. So what do i do? Get more females or something?

my female pup is eating hikari floating sticks already from day one basicaly . the males does not float around as much (only shrimp)
