Firstly,i cannot provide a pic...so plz read carefully...
yesterday morning my girlfriend left to go back to her country as she completed her graduation [she's one year senior to me]....befo going she gave me a few gifts among which one was this BEAUTIFUL huge 50cm monster,one of the two good things she did...then, after a few hours she broke the camera as i was paying more attention to the fish than her
....second good thing she did was go back to her country.
So i need to borrow a camera from someone or wait till my own camera is repaired...and i need to ID this fish badly,coz it was shipped frm more than 400 km away and it looks stressed pale hungry and half dead.
i put her in a tank,added some salt,pellets and feeder fish but she aint moving a bit...but still alive..
so about the fish....its BEAUTIFUL
...ok its around 50 cm long,thin and looks like a cat fish coz she has these typicall catfish "tentacles" [4] fleshy and abt half a cm long. the head is narrow garfish-like and her mouth is tiny at the bottom of her eyes,like a ray,further back from the tip of her jaw.....pure black. has only one dorsal fin just befo her tail starts...has 4 lateral fins,one pair after the gills and another in line with the dorsal fin...
i knw this is crazy,trying to identify a fish without a pic....but help me!!
