Is anyone aware of any feed pellets intended for vegetarian animals eg rabbit pellets that could be used as a low cost substitute for algae wafers?

Note: i generally feed mine a mix of sinking fish pellets, actual veg and prawns/mussel etc so don't come in "flaming", just wondering if anyone has tried this.

What brand of algae wafers are you using?
I haven't used any in years, i have mainly used various sinking (general) catfish pellets but also trout pellets and am currently in the process of switching to bloodworm pellets (so feeding a mix of the last trout pellets and the new bloodworm) alongside regular wet food and salad items-currently we have a lot of home grown lettuce.
