Altolamprologus Compressiceps Tankmates?

only thing with fronts is they grow faster than comps and calvus and so once they get so big they will make a midnight snack out of the comps, although when young they go well together i keep three fronts in with 3 calvus all smaller than 4inch alpha male front being the biggest
 
Well my Comps are only like .25", with the largest being .5" so it'll be awhile before they have any tankmates... What should I be feeding them at this size? Anything in particular to help their growth rate?
 
I'd mix with Geos and maybe even Thorichthys if new world cichlids are the possibilities, but I liked mixing them with shellies and julies
 
Protein based foods, a good quality pellet, (you may find some suggestions here) frequent water changes close to the same temp. in tank will allow for max growth.
 
i keep mine with buffalo heads, marlerei ,lelupis, cyprichromis, multis ,regani,brichardi,sexfasciatous,and bourgerlei.in a 180 gallon total of about 100 fish 35 or so are shell dwellers

ill get you some as soon as i get a new camera in i dropped mine in a tank last week while takeing some pics . DOOH!!!!!:cry: but i will post them asap
