IN YOUR HEAD
i have found a bulk pack of .45 blazer aluminum cased rounds. they are cheap, but how well do they function? i know you can't reload them, but hows the shooting of them. i found a 1000 round pack for $250 or so i have to look again to be sure. just want to do some research before i get some of these rounds. i cant find a smaller box locally to test them out in my gun.

my gun is a xdm .45.

never heard of a problem with the aluminum. just shot the 38 spl of the same type. no problems.

aluminum is fine to shoot. If your gun will like them or not, who knows. Try it and find out.

I'm not a big fan of Blazers. The casings must split easily during manufacturing because I swear I find at least one bad round in every box.

Junk, junk, junk and dirty....I would toss them if I were you. I shot them from my Kimber .45, was the worst rounds ever, I gave them to my buddy who then tossed them. There is another junk brand out there but I forget who it is at the moment, wait, Tula Ammo, just as bad if not worse.

I used the .45 Blazer's for my Glock 21 when I go to the range. Definitely dirty but my Glock doesn't mind lol.

If anyone cares about their guns, they wouldnt shoot these at all, they are dirty and I dont want all that in my gun or possibly causes any other issues when I may need it the most. I have found damaged casings, a lot of miss fires, they didnt eject which causes a jam which isnt good on your gun in the first place, especially repeated jams. Some people swear by it thou, you pay for what you get in IMO.

I don't know if anyone here shoots a Glock but it's not picky about ammunition. I always clean my gun after then range anyway so I feel like it's a moot point what I shoot.
