I did not mean to insult your gun or anyones. Badly worded on my part. I have done tons of research and find TONs of positive to few negative and the only real issues I find are its dirty. I find plenty of people saying it digested just fine in Kimbers as well.

I have found lots of ranges not letting you use it on their range. This has to do with them wanting your brass so they can make even more money off of you and not a potential safety problem. Much of the rumors of dirty ammo has to do with the steel used. Steel doesnt expand and seal the chamber as well as brass. There tons of rumors against these ammo companys and a majority are false.

Gun snobs (and by extension ammo snobs) annoy me. Its nothing against you personally, simply I spend alot of time on another forum(gun obviously) and the amount of snobbery/misinformation out there is mind boggling.

Not in both of my Kimbers, my brother had a Glock, it did just fine, he shot it thru his XD and he got the same results as I did.

To me, spending just a few extra $$ is worth it not to run into those problems on a very consistent basis. I usually shoot Federal when target practicing, Hornady Critical Defense when I carry. Shooting both of those together at the range didnt have much of an impact on accuracy, I shoot just as good with either. Its when I started shooting the other two cheap brands that the issues arose.

Like I said, there are people here that shoot it without issue but not I, at least with my guns.

Have you ever had issues with your hornady? They had a bad batch awhile back with alot of ftf. Since its your carry ammo, id test some from your box.

Im stilling looking for ranger SXTs for my 38. Might get one of the other Rangers +p for it as the sxt are hard to find.

Well at first I did, but come to find out, the guy that had my gun before me bought a cheapo mag and it jammed a lot, so I went to Kimber and got the right mag and all was well but to date, I havent had one jam on me yet. I dont shoot them much since they are more $$ than the federals but the ones I did shoot, were fine.

Yeah my 3rd gen g19 has never had a problem with over 500 rounds of blazer through it in 1 day, but my glock eats everything I feed it. It just depends on the gun imo. Make sure you clean ur gun after you uses it though its dirty stuff.

well. i will have to make a run to cabelas to see if they have any in a smaller box. no were else even has them. i don't want to get so much for a start with the mixed reviews on them. it seems that only some calibers have problems with them then?

i always clean my guns after shooting them, i never let them sit more then a day or two without cleaning(after shooting). the only exception is my duck hunting guns. unless they get wet they go the season with one or two cleans.

I also bought a box of 1000 aluminum blazers and shot them through a Sig P250, Ruger LC9, Glock 19, and a Kimber Solo. I did not have a single jam and all of the guns were just a dirty as any other time I have taken them to the range for an extensive shooting session and just as clean afterwords. I'd say go for it. I would also like to point out that I was actively TRYING to get my Sig to jam (it is my defense pistol and I wanted to know its limits) and it would not. You should not have a problem. Go for it.
