So last night I went to fill my sump up on my 125 SA tank. I usually just leave my python hooked to the sink and in the sump cause im the only one that ever goes down there and its easy. Well easy killed me last night. Instead of turning it off, I turned it up full blast. And let it run all night. Woke up to a very clear tank, but a rapid river in my basement and all my fish dead :(. What a crap morning.

Sorry about that loss.
This hobby can be so rewarding and yet so volatile at the same time.

Thanks guys. Normally if a fish dies its rough but when you loose a whole tank of adult SA's that you grew up specifically cause you've never seen a big one in person (our fish selections slim around here) its worst :(. My Buttekoferi wasnt even 8" yet. Oh well. On to the next project. Next time I just need to think things out more.

That sucks bro, But how does overflowing a sump cause all your fish to die?

i was wondering the same but the best thing i could come up with is turning it on full blast turned it to extreme cold or extreme hot

Sorry to read.
