Am I correct on this?

If you're in a state that outlaws certain types of piranhas, don't push the issue by trying to get a piranha that isn't specifically listed. It would still be illegal under the law and they could prosecute you for it. This is in the same vein as how the new 'batik' Asian arowanas (Scleropages inscriptus) weren't specifically outlawed, but the Fed issued a mandate stating that they were covered under previously existing laws and were illegal to possess. Do not attempt to get a fish that is illegal in your area!

According the law shown what I was interested in was not illegal as I stated above and shown the laws listed but regardless I said the hell with and moved to the next best thing and started to collect silver dollars they kind of look like piranhas and shoal like them but the law just makes no sense definitely stupid if I can own an Aimara I don't see why I couldn't own a piranha I'd rather deal with a 8 inch piranha then a 3 foot Aimara which would do way more damage but its what it is stupid laws will never change and the laws they make make no sense but hey me complaining about it Won't change anything so it's pointless mods close this thread I'm done with this topic

Yea I wouldnt do anything illegal!I heard the fines are outragous in California!But there its understood!I would move if my state banned them!But I prefer no other fish!

I've had my silver dollars now for like 2 weeks and I love them I'm so glad I got them I turned my 180 into all silver dollars they shoal like piranhas and they look like piranhas plus they are outrages when they eat straight feeding frenzy I throw whole night crawlers in there and they shred it to nothing in seconds

Thanks Eddie and the reason I really didn't want exodons is because I never really liked them where as I think my silver dollars look awesome and the best thing is they get some size to them which I like
