Am I crazy for wanting an FX5 for my 100g?

I feel as though my crappy Jebo canister filter isnt doing its job. My tank is kinda overstocked with 6 baby pbass, 8 parrot fish, 1 scarlet pleco, and 2 flagtail prochilodus

Like when I do water changes i see crap fly right by the filter and it doesnt suck it up.

Do you guys think a single fx5 is too much for a 100g? Should i go smaller? I can get the fx5 from richard for $220..i know the smaller ones go for like 150ish so i might as well pay a little more to get alot more..

Or should i go with ehiem? I heard really good things about those.

I got an FX 5, Eheim 2217, and 2 AC110 on my 75 grow out tank.

Livestock List:

6 - Indo Dats
1 - Thinbar Dat
1 - Johanna Pike
4 - Bichirs (Endli, Buti, Delhezi and Senegalus)
1- Tigrinus
1- Jurense

I also do WC 2 x per week.

My Indo dats grows about 1/2 per month, Tigrinus is growing at a rate of 3/4 - 1" per month.

I feed them twice a day with Krill, Market Shrimp, Pellets, and Live blackworms.

Talk about huge bioload...

I would say go a different brand and double up (2 XP 4's or eheim), but last time I did that I got crucified so yeah, it'll be a good bet.
