Am I getting old???

Heh, I grew up hearing my dad's neil songs. I have been to one of his concerts, wasn't that impressed (his voice is shot compared to what it used to be). There are a lot of great music, it is just it seems harder to find. (IE many of the popular stuff is just junk.)
But I like to use pandora and it tends to bring in good songs. (Note I am the type of person that likes bands ranging from 311 too Simple Plan.) I too had never heard of flowerpowers suggested bands, and after listening to them I am not a fan.

I dont care for the guy much or really his music but i watched some show on tv about kid rock. He walked around the stage during a mini concert and played every instrument on the stage .I grew up with my dad in a rock band older genera stuff ccr, The beatles ,the who etc.etc so i have allways thought of that as music. im more diverse then that but still appreciate the roots of modern rock . Your not old you just appreciate the roots !
There's crap out there then there are some awesome new artists that are really taking music up a notch. Muse Decemberists and Mute Math are some of my favorites that you could take a listen to. Other that that I like hardcore and metal. Underoath, Atreyu, Greely Estates, Devil Wears Prada Stuff Like that that you would probably hate.
