Am I overdoing it on the water chemicals?

I would use the stress coat as a dechlorinator and you can use the stress zyme to boost your bacteria but probably overkill in an establised tank.

I always have prime in my house, it can be a life saver. Recently had a nitrite spike in my aussie lung tank and after 75% water change it was still not safe. Added prime at 4 times normal dose and it was safe. Swapped filters from another tank and added nitrivec, few hours later 0 nitrites again. In my opinion prime saved their lives. My lesson, too many plants added can be as harmful as too many fish.

I have never used chemicals in my entire fish keeping career. not needed if you are in a good spot and know what you are doing with filtration

You really only need the one, and personally, I would not use the one with the bacteria because it is doing the least from what it is claiming it is doing.

Amquell is not the same as Prime. It's for removing ammonia. If you have a healthy, balanced system, you need the exact amount of the ammonia produced by your fish to support the bacteria in there. Do not use Amquel in an established system. Same thing with Stressyme. You are adding more bacteria to an established system. You don't need more.

as long as your water parameters are good, then use it.

as for me, i only use salt. and sometime rid-ich.

You misread my post. I mentioned Amquel + (PLUS). it says "new" on the bottle. it removes nitrate, nitrite, ammonio, chlorine and chloramines.

Edit: sounds pretty similar to prime, which also removes ammonia, by the way. they aren't the same, but do perform EXTREMELY similar functions.

I wouldn't believe it. Just do water changes, instead of adding that crap to your tank & waisting $$$.
